100 DAYS READING CAMPAIGN
b>Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has launched a 100-day Reading Campaign ‘Padhe Bharat’ to improve learning levels of students, according to officials.
“Children studying in Balvatika to class 8 will be part of this campaign. The reading campaign will be organised for 100 days (14 weeks) starting from January 1 to April 10, 2022. The reading campaign aims to have the participation of all stakeholders at national and state level including children, teachers, parents, community, educational administrators etc
OBJECTIVES OF 100 DAYS READING CAMPAIGN
# To achieve sustainable development goel effective communication and involved learners
# To promote reading habit among students right from balvatika
# To make childrens independent readers and life long learners
# To utilise libraries at an optimum extentTarget Group: Children studying in Balvatika to Grade VIII will be part of this campaign. They will further be categorised in three groups class wise:
TARGET GROUP
Group I Balvatika to Grade II
Group II Grade III to Grade V
Group III Grade VI to Grade VIII
